Joyful Sounds Music Studio is happily located in the Blackport Building, which is located on the corner of Lake Dr. & Diamond in the Easthills neighborhood of Grand Rapids, MI.

Depending on the time and day of your class, parking at the building can be tricky! Please note that there is a free parking lot for the building (there are several 15/20 minute parking spots, please refrain from using those, thanks!:), as well as metered parking along Lake Dr (free on Saturdays/Sundays & after 6pm on weekdays). There is an entrance to the building on both Lake Dr., and Diamond; our studio is where those 2 hallways meet, so either entrance will easily get you to us! Please help us be good neighbors by parking only in these areas and not the parking lots for the other businesses nearby. 

Directions

From the 131 Expressway:

Take Wealthy Street Exit. Go East on Weathy. Turn left on Diamond St. The Blackport Building will be on the left just after Lake Drive.

From the I96 Gerald Ford Expressway: 

Take Fuller Street exit. Go South on Fuller. Turn right on Michigan. Turn left on Diamond St (1st light). Continue past Fulton. The Blackport Building will be on the right before Lake Drive.

From the parking lot, enter the door furthest to the left (says 'Entrance' above it) and follow to the end of the hall.  If the parking lot is full, there is parking on the street on Lake Dr.
