About Music Together^®

Music Together® is an internationally recognized music program for children from birth through age 8—and the grownups who love them^®. First offered to the public in 1987, Music Together has been a pioneer in the field of early childhood music with truly innovative, high-quality music education and outreach programs.

At the core of the Music Together approach is the idea that young children learn best from the powerful role models of parents/caregivers who are actively making music. Parents and caregivers join their children to share in songs, instrument play, rhythm chants and movement activities in a non-performance oriented, relaxed, playful setting.

In every 10-week semester we explore a new, multi-cultural musical genre-joining other families weekly in 45-minute sessions. In each of our classes families receive take home materials (CD, Songbook and Parent/Caregivers Guide), and access to the online Family Music Zone® filled with activities to continue the music making at home.

The Music Together curriculum is comprised of 12 non-sequential song collections, so families can join any semester and not miss a beat!  Each collection comes with a beautifully illustrated songbook, CD and a code for a digital download of both the music and songbook. 
 

The Classes   

Start your musical journey with us! This introduction to Music Together^® is for new parents with precrawling infants. You'll LOVE this time bonding with your baby and connecting with other new parents! Learn how music can be your superpower as a parent, and how it supports your baby's rapidly growing brain and body. This family-style class is for families with children ages 0-5. Guaranteed to be the highlight of your week! Bond with your children while creating community with other families. See how music learning supports ALL your child's learning, simply by playing and having musical fun with them in our relaxed, non-performance oriented class. Learn more about Mixed Ages.

This is the perfect next step for your big kid ages 4-8. They'll love the challenges this non-performance oriented class offers: singing, drumming, leading, creating and jamming!  And best of all, music supports their emerging math, reading, social and overall excutive function skills. This class is 45 minutes of pure fun! The Music

The music from our collections will inspire your family to listen, sing, and make music together both at home and on the go. Our award winning music features original compositions and traditional tunes from a variety of genres - folk, blues, jazz, classical and worldbeat.
